CHUCK NORRIS FOR FELIX!
I
n our school there’s a person who can slam a revolving door, a person who is so fast he can swim around the world and punch himself in the back of the head, a person who doesn’t wear a watch because he decides what time it is. That person is Felix Gifford. When he jumps into the water he doesn’t get wet, the water gets Felixed.
Felix Gifford is North Scotland’s official 100 metre swimming Champion and a member of the “legendary” Delting Dolphins. His hard work has paid off this march when Felix hammered James Yule and brought home the gold. With only five minutes between the two events he didn’t give up hope, he kept pedalling his arms through the water for the win.
Although, his success comes at a price, a price of time, time which could be spent eating Doritos or playing the Xbox. Felix trains every day for over an hour. To be honest if I spent an hour a day I water, I’d probably implode due to all the osmosis and such. So that makes Felix a super-skilled master Pro.
However, it doesn’t end there, over his lifetime Felix won 8 major North Scotland medals and still had time to make the poor Felix videos on YouTube. He has achieved in his 15 years more than Chuck Norris achieved in a lifetime. We should show him our respect and maybe even give him a hug or something.
If you would like to take the Felix challenge then try to swim 100 meters in 54.26 seconds. That’s right 54.26. Read it and weep.
