Thanks to everyone who took part in the charity dodgeball festival and pool competition on the last day of term and to everyone who kindly contributed to our chosen charity CLAN and the Brae High School Fund.

A fantastic total of £752.50 was raised with 80%, £602 going to CLAN Shetland and 20%, £150.50 going to the Brae High School Fund.    Over 90 people took part in the dodgeball making up 15 teams.  Teams were encouraged to include 3 boys and 3 girls and to use pupils from different age groups.  They played 45 games of dodgeball in total.  Great sportsmanship was shown throughout by all and congratulations go to the winning team:  Gary Sutherland, Liam Sutherland, Connor MacDonald, Danielle Johnson, Shannon Davies and Shannon Hynes who were presented with their medals at the end of term assembly. The pool competition had an entry of 46 pupils who paid a £1 to take part and congratulations go to the Pool competition winner Zevf Vessey.

CLAN Shetland support facilitator Janette Budge visited the school to explain to pupils about CLAN and to receive a cheque from representatives of the Brae High School Pupils.
